On a related note, the Columbia U. Mental Disorders Clinic called me back. Somehow this “Eye-Blinking Response” study turned into “We want to give you a brain MRI and a PET Scan, for which we will inject you with radioactive dye, to see your brain activity of course.” They make it sound so simple: why wouldn’t you want to make up to $500 and see what it’s like to have glowing green blood? They disqualified me anyway for having metal tooth fillings.
