Oh, The Inanity!
Yes, this is where I worked yesterday:

Needless to say, there were no men, straight or gay, and no women under the age of 65.
There was much kvelling over the scarf demo, and much kvetching over anything else imaginable. Maybe they didn’t care about reinforcing old stereotypes because there were no Gentiles there to judge them, but I’m sure they would have eaten up the scarf demo too had they known about it, because it’s never too late for all ladies of a certain age to flair up that blazer and go out on the town!!!
Sample line: “Now here’s a way to drape the scarf over your shoulders, for when you don’t want to show off your arms all night.”
Touche.
I could go on about this all day, but then I might take what little money I earned and blow it all on wine in a jug. I decided I will try to forget about yesterday and remember the day before, which was one of the happiest days of my life, for Hephaestus has defied the orders of Zeus and left behind Aphrodite for Athena, who looks pretty damn good in addition to being wise… and he knows how to catch poisonous snakes! He will be a worthy companion for my next journey into the desert, hopefully soon!
